Amor Mío is small on purpose. One photo, one line, one circle. That makes the app quiet — and it makes bad behavior easy to see. Here is exactly what we do about it, and exactly what you can do.
Every profile card and every conversation has a ··· menu in the corner. Three things live there, always.
They disappear from your queue, your matches, and your messages, permanently. They are not told. They cannot find you again.
Six reasons: in a relationship, fake profile, harassment, inappropriate photo or words, looks under 18, or something else. Add detail if you want to. Reporting also blocks — you never have to see them again to make the report.
Ends a connection without blocking. For when nothing is wrong and it is simply over.
Reports are read by a human — not a queue, not a bot. We review every report and act on the ones that need acting on within 24 hours. Accounts that break our rules are removed. Accounts we believe belong to a minor are removed immediately and permanently.
We do not tell you what we did about a specific person. That protects both of you. But we read everything.
We are honest about this: no dating app pre-screens everything, and we do not claim to. What we do:
We do not run background checks, verify identities, or vouch for anyone. Nobody who tells you otherwise about any app is telling you the truth. So:
Contact local emergency services first. In the United States, call 911. Then tell us, so we can remove the account.
Reporting in the app is fastest, because it blocks at the same time. For anything else — a safety concern, a member you can no longer reach in the app, a law-enforcement request — write to us.
